School report ideas

Our story is coronvanis virus is newquay and turo because the schools went on a ski trip to italy and caught the virius. the virus orginated from china and has spread across the world and now is in corwnall. he source of the coronavirus is believed to be a "wet market" in Wuhan which sold both dead and live animals including fish and birds. Such markets pose a heightened risk of viruses jumping from animals to humans because hygiene standards are difficult to maintain if live animals are being kept and butchered on site. Typically, they are also densely packed.
The animal source of the latest outbreak has not yet been identified, but the original host is thought to be bats. Bats were not sold at the Wuhan market but may have infected live chickens or other animals sold there.

L/O: To evaluate and review our news day project.

Evaluation

We did our story on the on Covid-19 and how is affecting everyday. We also interviewed Mr baker and what his thoughts were.  Also i had to write a report and edit the raw footage. I enjoyed the most was the editing and i enjoyed this the most because i find editing interesting and fun. I least enjoyed being filmed because i don't feel confident on camera. I learnt how to edit better and also helped with self confidence from being on camera. What i learnt about the news process is how they find news and interview people and the camera settings for when they interview people.  Also how much editing is needed for every indidval story that is shown on the news. If i did it again i think i would make a more detiled report.

News and audience

L/O: To investigate how news programmes are targeted towards different audiences.

Top 10 news story of today.

bbc radio 1 has a target audience of 15-30 this could affect the storys by that they cant put senstive stories on air and have to be intresting for all.
