My film I have chosen is spider man far from home.

Narrative

The start is you meet nick fury and his agent then it cuts to peter talking to his friend about how he going to get MJ to like him and there school break in Europe. The middle is Peter meets mystrio and the elementals and then he realises they are drones creating the image and the elementals are fake and finds mystrio a liar. The end is Peter kills mystrio and regains the power of Edith and MJ and Peter fall in love. First important event is knowing is all a illusion and second is peter handing over Edith and the third is killing mystrio. It wouldn't make sense if the events were backwards. Because they talk about where they are and where there going next. The story is about peter getting over Iron mans death and killing mystrio. In real time the film lasts 2 hours and 9 minutes. What happened before the film is thanos dying and iron man dying. What will happen next is probably MJ getting killed and spider man/peter finding revenge. 

Narrative theory: Todorov

A films narrative is the story of the film and is broken down into 5 key stages by theorist Tzvetan Todorov;

Equilibrium- everything in the world is normal not necessarily good, but it is normal 

Disruption- something happens usually caused by the films main antagonist. Disrupt normal life

Recognition of disruption- the protagonist /realise that something is wrong in their world or discover the disruption

Attempt to solve disruption- the main protagonist goes on a journey to solve the disruption

New equilibrium- the disruption is solved and a new normality occurs [ things can never be the same as they were before the disruption, but a new normal life is created.]

Protagonist- peter parker/ Spiderman, personality is happy however can be timid about people finding out he is Spiderman.

Antagonist-  mystrio

Characters

The main character is peter parker.

There are two main characters one is evil which is mystrio and one is good who is peter parker.

The story is about peter parker and him finding mystrio is a fraud. 

Peter is telling the story.

They behave confident however when they are worried about people finding out there true ideinty they act timid around the other characters. 

The character that interests me the most is mystrio as how he tricked so many people and how he faked his whole life for so long.

My new film is The chronicles of narina the lion the witch and the wardrobe

Narrtive

The start is the blitz and then they get evacuated to a small town down south away from the bombs and the raids over london. The milldle is they find Narnia and find aslan. At the end they kill the white witch and narina is freed from her rein. The first important event is them finding narina. The secound is edmound getting kidnapped by the white witch. Third is aslan sacrificing himself for edmounds life. The final important event is aslan killing the white witch. If the story happend in differnt order it woudnt make sense. we know were the story takes place from people describing the place or large signs saying were they are. The story is about Peter, lucy,edmound, and susan finding narina then aslan they become a allinace and kill the white witch and everbody who was froze to death by her come back to life. The story in real time is 2 hours and 25 mintues. What happended before the story was the start of ww2. My film has a linear narrative.

protagonist- peter, Lucy, Susan, Edmond, Aslan- They don't have a job as there children/ teenager- personality is kind, sarcastic and brave

Antagonist- the white witch

Sidekick- beavers, thorns,

The story is about the main characters saving Narnia from the white witches rein.

The main characters tell the story

By the way a character looks you can tell there lifestyle and there situation with money

They behave very normal but like adventures

They behave very kind towards other characters

Thorns play Narnia Lully bys  and the thorns dance all night

Aslan intrestres me the most
