Tuesday 14th april Lo: to investigate how news progammes are targeted towards different audiences. News programmes all have different target audiences even though they all report news. A lot of this will depend on the station / channel they are on, the time of day of the week.  Which of the following five stories would you choose to include in a news broadcast aimed at an older, educated and wealthy target audience? coronavirus UK update-yes School closure-yes singer Duffy comes back-no coronavirus impact on economy-yes new trending Netflix series -no missing girl search continues-yes national trust to open new grounds-yes help for new drivers-no bbc radio 1 has a target audience of 15-30 this could affect the storys by that they cant put senstive stories on air and have to be intresting for all.
